A big challenge in the composites industry is availability of cheap raw lignocellulosic materials, potential candidates to replace slow growing trees, order minimize production cost. Therefore, a variety plants were studied and tested worldwide manufacturing. The objective this study was investigate technical feasibility manufacturing particleboards from seaweed leaves (Possidonia oceanica—PO). use such material may benefit both socioeconomic environmental development since these settle on seashores decay. results showed that an incorporation up 10% PO did not significantly affect mechanical properties board. Internal bond strength more severely affected than other properties. 25% improve dimensional stability boards. Markedly, boards made 50% wood particles best thickness swelling values.
